I remember that. That was one of those matches to be filed away under "We know City come up with ridiculous situations, as only this club can do, but this was taking the piss"

I remember seeing Pearce shaking his head, don't think he could quite believe it.

There had been an "incident" on the Woodhead Pass which meant we, and probably several hundred other City fans didn't arrive at the ground until about five minutes into the second half. Bit of a nightmare all round really. I was driving too, which meant I couldn't even get pissed. And the car kept overheating.

Another one of those nights that means if karma really does exist, City are going to be bringing me some major happiness at some point in my life..........

I'm going to the Brighton game. Sadly it's one of the closer places to my new residence. Gonna make the trip up for Chelsea, but something tells me I it won't be the homecoming i'm hoping for.
