Bit disappointing at 36,000. We knew it was going to be empty before even getting in the ground, virtually no traffic on the roads at all.

For the first game of the season it was a poor attendance well below our average gate last season. West ham only brough 1000 odd fans which didnt help.

Combination of credit crunch, bank holiday weekend, the fact the match was on TV and all the bad press recently ? Shame as it was an excelelnt performance.

I think we can expect more of that as well unfortunately, we are unlikely to have many Saturday 3pm matches due to our busy schedule and that does nothing for attendance. Winning matches however, does.

Depends which team turns up Miggsy....team that played Midgetland last time or the team that played Milano and Wham. We are eminently capable of murderising them I say we should do just that.

we drove up through town yesterday to the match, lots of people about thought they were all going to the game. untill i realised they all had tight white t shirts on bald heads. and were holding hands  we were stuck in the middle of a gay parade:)

I can account for one empty seat due to my living in Kentishness and having to go to a friend's b'day down here. It should have gone to a good home, but i forgot to post it to my papa.

Disappointing crowd, but i'm sure results will change that. No that i'm insinuating we have a load of plastic fans, mind. Just that we're a fickle bunch
