Does this mean you think Corluka might be left out because he is on his way to Spurs? Charlie should play as a statement of intent if nothing else (still not quite clear on the rules about being cup-tied in qualifying rounds).

Cup tied till feb if you play in these rounds - heard it ont he radio re Spurs and Berbatov.

I hope we play Corluka and Ireland tonight as a staement of positivity. Also hope we play same midfield and attacking pairing as we will against Villa.

Maybe Sturridge and Elano up front with Petrov, Fernandes, Johnson and Ireland in the Middle. back 5 pick themselves.

Bench
Onouha, Kasper, Garrido (or might play 45mins on left mid to spare Petrov)
Evans, Bianchi.

according to sky if barry plays for villa tonight he cant play for liverpool till january

Petrov is not in the squad according to the beeb.....

They are a good side a stuffing is not on the cards. We need to win though.
