I was thinking that....

Fuck knows what the strike force is gonna be, at this rate it will be Ched and Sturridge??

Fook it! We'll just have to get a few penalty's or score on set-pieces!

Is Boj definitely out? We still have Bianchi and I happen to think Sturridge and Evans are not too shabby so I think we will cope but it's not ideal.

From the Independent's Guide to the Premier League, today:
"Manchester City Player to watch:
Daniel Sturridge.
Who needs the Thais anyway? City grow their own stars."

Boj is out for tomorrow. May be fit for sunday.

Sturridge or Bianchi up front with Elano behind. Ireland on the right. Rest of the team picks itself.

No worries.

Unless we get anymore injuries the team for Villa will almost certainly be :

-------------Joe Hart----------------

Onuoha---Richards---Ben Haim ---Ball

Elano---Fernandes---Johnson---Petrov

----------Bojinov---Sturridge----------

Subs : Schmeichel---Corluka---Garrido---Hamann---Ireland---Evans---Etuhu

If Bojinov is not fit (as the BBC are reporting) Evans will take his place and either Bianchi or Caicedo will take the space on the bench. No place for Castillo. I dont think he is in Hughes plans at all and the same for Bianchi. They havent featured at all really in any of his games so far. Only injuries or desperation will see them in the squad.

I am guessing Corluka will be benched, there has been alot going on with him over the last week or so and I think Hughes will want to ease him back in and make sure his head is right. Also Onuoha played very well against Milan.

Its not a bad looking side but we but with Jo away and a couple of injuries and suspensions what you see is what you get. Only Logan in the first team squad at the moment other than the players already mentioned. We must have one of the smallest first team squads in the league at the moment.

No chance. Less than no chance In fact. More chance of Labour and brown winning the next election.

How can Kasper go when we only have two keepers in the squad at the moment ? No time to sign anyone else before the season kicks off and we already need at least one more keeper to have minimum levels of cover.

Hes with us for another season at least. I dont know what he is moaning about with the number of games we might be playing this season he is going to get games. He and his dad have been saying he wants to leave for the last 6 months. Not going to happen though.

He isn't happy, put it that way.

He said he wished he never signed a new contract.

Yes we all know this

Hes been saying the same thing for the last 6 months like I said

He can be unhappy as he wants he signed a new 4 year contract not so long ago. Hes not going anywhere he can moan as much as he likes.

How you think we can go into the new season with 1 keeper is beyond me, its not even worth suggesting he will be allowed to leave

Sunday, I'd go for...

HART

CORLUKA RICHARDS BEN HAIM GARRIDO

ELANO HAMANN JOHNSON PETROV

BIANCHI STURRIDGE

I'd put Evans on the bench and give him a run out as well later on depending how the game's going.

MY XI WOULD BE:
-----------------HART----------------
CORLUKA-RICHARDS-BEN-HAIM-GARRIDO
IRELAND--FERNANDES--ELANO--PETROV
-------BOJINOV--------STURRIDGE------

SUBS K.SCHMEICHEL, ONOUHA, BALL, HAMANN, EVANS, BIANCHI, WEISS

I honestly feel that if Bojinov stays fit he will be our ultimate striker!!
And if Sturridge wasn't so selfish he cud be world class one day!
Criticisms, Suggestions and Death threats please stick to this board!!

Oh and I agree with you on almost all points.
