I'll be honest I was very nervous about last night's fixture, and they were a handful for sure but the way we went about our recovery was superb. The team wasn't going to lose last night, it was awesome to see.

I too was somewhat worried about last night’s game, but happy to have gone through?
A couple of questions in my mind.
If they talk about £150M for Harland, how much is Foden worth?
Will the weekend semifinal of the FA cup be a rehearsal for the European Final?
How long will Sterling stay at City?

For the sake of the result and the utterly turgid nature of the match, I really hope not.

Same. Both playing pretty much their strongest teams, should be a cracker.

You've got to appreciate good football even when the other side were that, top quality match. They had the first half and we had the second but it was close throughout. What a result. WHAT a result. We have it al to do still but we've given ourselves a great chance. Come on.

can't think of a player I hate more, though Pepe is pretty close.

typical Pep to be fair. I fully expected a strange line up for this game. A way for him to fully over think it.

How on earth do you start the most out of form player in the world instead of Fernandinho?

Apparently either Ferna or Rodri started 59/60 games this season. What a stupid decision.

That lack of ferna/rodri was... Baffling and costly. Started to play better after de bruyne got nailed, but far from a convincing last 30 mins as well. Chelsea shithousery had shades of PSG. Universal narrative magic failed to give Sergio the ball in the final minutes, but Mahrez's improvised shot gave me a flickering glimmer of hope, until it passed harmlessly over the bar.

Still, we made it to a champion's league final. Never thought I'd see the day, nor did I think I'd be so disappointed that we faced an English team, or that I'd not actually feel all that put out by not winning.

It would be easy to be condemn Pep on the Ferna/Rodri decision but I refuse to be critical of the manager that just won the league and has brought such beautiful football to the club. He will be harsher on himself than anyone else will be. Really felt like this was to be our time to win it but it wasn't to be.

We are not going away, enjoy the summer (my winter) and we'll be back for the next campaign.

That was really horrible. I’m with Obi, I love Pep to bits but he disappeared up his own arse on Saturday night.

It's Friday..gotta day off.
Think I'm over it now.
Yep I think pep over thought it.
Tried to be a bit clever with his tinkering and cocked it up.

Should have had Sergio on at ht and push foden left where he's been brilliant all season.and got raz off

Sterling has been poor, he just has, so why did he even start.
And no DM.
Oh pep you cocked it up mate.

But we were one step closer and we go again.
We will win it sooner or later.
Just gutted for kun.
He deserved better...

Dust ourselves off lads and let's go again.

CTID..
