Well how quickly things can change, suddenly we're 3rd, if we are any chance of winning the league we need to give southampton a shoeing and then do the hubcap thieves at ours.

First things first, let's tear southampton a new one.

No De Bruyne who has a "knock" Gundogan hasn't gone, really thin on the ground midfielders wise, can see Foden playing then a take your pick with whoevers left.

Our centuries old left back problems are still going. Zinchenko dodgy today and Delph was shit against Leicester. Fuck knows what Salah would do to either of those on Thursday. I’d be tempted to play Laporte at left back and Stones and Kompany CBs if fit.

I thought Zinchenko was fine today except for not getting that ball under control quick enough. He'll get there.

75% possession and a host of other chances to score. Do our strikers need to be better at taking the oppties? It's hardly dire, we are 2nd and the best GF in the league, but if we want to win the league, which btw is now very difficult, we need to improve still.

Match of the season coming up Thu, and a tough ask shutting down Salah. Win this match and we have some chance to retain.

He was good going forward, lovely cross for Aguero’s goal, but he’s not good enough defensively. Could’ve easily given away a penalty too. He’s like Delph, a midfielder playing as a defender. I see we’ve been linked with a £40m left back from Betis today so perhaps Pep agrees.
