I’m not saying we would won this tie had the officials got the decisions right, or even the game on Saturday. But it would’ve been nice to have found out, and either way I’d feel a fuck of a lot better than I do right now.

Know what you mean sec. Even bernardo's booking in the first half would've been a shout for a pen tbh, as he handballed it off bouncing from milner's arm. I'm fucked off that both the last games have had questionable decisions that have cost us, but tempered by thinking it shouldn't fucking be the difference between making a decent showing and getting a dicking over two legs. Our procession to the title will also be completely overshadowed if these scouse cunts actually win it.

Away from the match one has to presume that the Spanish ref was not in favour of Catalan independence and that Sane must have done something awful to the linesman’s dog —— or his mother.

I know I sound like a bad loser and I probably am, but had they gone in at half time 2-0 down they would felt like they got off lightly, we were that much better than them. Just needing 1 goal in the second half to even the tie I think we would easy have done it, rather than coming out with an air of desperation about us which led to conceding. They were better than us for 19 minutes over the two legs but a well timed wrong decision can have a massive impact. Horrible way to go out.

It wasn’t marginal either. Gundog’s was marginal - I can take that. But had one of the Liverpool player’s dad had to take the flag because there was no one else available to run the line I would’ve expected him to let Sane’s one stand. In a champions league quarter final in the professional era. Fuck it, it’s not going to get any better, bring the robots in.

Expected end to a very shit week.

I agree SEC, we have had some garbage refereeing of late, fucking woeful.

Anyway, let's win the league, get Laporte and Mendy fit and up to speed in our defence and get in to next season.

I can't see us winning at spuds. Let's beat swansea at home.
