not good enough. We should have beaten them at home.

Danilo is class. It's madness that Sane starts ahead of him as LWB. Next match should be Mendy and Danilo.
Bernardo Silva will be amazing for us. He's like a young David.
442 next match please and thank you.

...better refereeing wouldn't hurt either.

i don't think we got out of jail bert.
we deserved that point if not a win..
we battered them second half with 10 men, and they were hanging on like grim death at the end.
really need to finish these chances..

The refereeing left something to be desired.
I am surprised that Everton decided to mass defend against 10 men.

Games like this put fans off. Apparently it's now a booksble offence to look over your shoulder to see where a player is before going up for a header. From the look of the replays, the decision might've come from Mike Oliver who felt he wasn't getting enough attention as assistant referee.

This

The amount of times I heard/have read "He had a look, that's what has made the ref's mind up". So you now aren't allowed to be aware of other players' position on the field? Fuck's sake!

As for the game, it yet again highlighted, for me, that 3-5-2 doesn't suit us. 4-2-3-1 all day long. If it means Gabby or Kun getting shifted wide or sitting out then so be it. The current formation doesn't give enough importance to KdB or Merlin and leaves them drifting through the game. Nice to see we have solved the problem of a goalie that lets in every shot he faces though

He definitely had a look whilst the ball was in the air. He blocked him off whilst the ball was still in the air, which is a deliberate foul off the ball. That must be a yellow although Calvert Lewin made the most of it by clutching his face and should equally have got a yellow for simulation.
I thought there was to be a retrospective panel to look at diving and simulation.

The second yellow should be scrubbed off.
And the Match ban lifted.

Pretty entertaining match.
Think we played well and worked really hard as a team for a good 60-70 minutes. Once we changed our formation and tactics I think we almost gave you the equaliser on a plate. Very happy with a draw though, would have taken that all day long before kick off. Especially when I saw your front 6

I think Walker and Schneiderlin's bans should both be reversed and given to the ref instead.

Never in a million years was it a yellow, it wasn't even a foul. The scouse lad conned the ref or AR into thinking he elbowed him and that's it. Fully expect the referee to admit his mistake and rescind the decision. Not that it does us much good now.
