This was a game where we needed to pick up 3 points against an ordinary side. Given that 'snal and/or spurs were going to drop points and the chavs and 'pool were going to take some.

We now have to take max points against palace and burrrn-leh before we play chavs, while arse play utd, and chavs play spurs.

Red scouse next 6 games look a breeze before they play us. So they should fall on their own sword a few times before then.
