Incase anyone is interested I've started a thread for information on travel for games.

For anyone thinking of going to the game in Denmark on 28th August you may want to consider Ryanair going to Aarhus airport. It's cheaper and nearer to the match ground than Copenhagen. Only problem is they only fly to it from Stanstead.

I've looked at prices for 27th -29th August and both are currently £0.00. (£4.99 inc taxes).

So if you want to make your way down south there is a cheap option.

Would be quiet in Herning though!!!

Very good point and well made. You passed the little test (smart arse ;)).

I only had a quick squiz at the fixture dates on uefa.com and just stuck the first one in

Anyways, I am sure the prices will be somewhat similar. But you never know, going to Herning when everyone else will be in Manchester might be a nice relaxing holiday.

EDIT: Just checked - same prices, phew.

Just look at the stadium they've got - we've hit the big time now guys, they've got proper stands with a roof and everything:

Mate and I were looking at this. Flight from Stanstead looks like a good option. COuld drive down and leave the car in airport parking or possibly try and get a train....

Anyone know how far it is from the airport at the other end ?

I really hate Stansted Airport probably just because of the association with Ryanair which I despise because of their lurid blue and yellow colour scheme and tiny tiny legroom. They do have a cool underground automated monorail style thingy to get you from your plane back to the terminal though.

Its approx 60 mile from Aarhus to Herning where the ground is.

We're probably gonna take this option and stay 2 nights in Aarhus, as the hotels in Herning seem quite expensive.
