Its approx 60 mile from Aarhus to Herning where the ground is.

We're probably gonna take this option and stay 2 nights in Aarhus, as the hotels in Herning seem quite expensive.

Jonno if we lose and get knocked out, i be very mean to you. I may never get an opportunity to see City in Europe again!

You didn't get to see them play in sunny Drogheda a few years ago?

Thanks for that - you were probably being a little tongue in cheek, but for a wimp who won't go on a plane it's helpful! I'm seriously considering it if they'll let me have the time off college. I should be in but the kids aren't back til the week after...

You really won't fly?

I've never met anyone who won't fly, know people who don't like it but none that won't.

Not being funny but why?

Never go camping!!!

You'll be murdered.

Every time the police find a body it's in a tent.

Hi

There is an official forum for the FC Midtjylland supporters: http://www.ulvegraven.dk/index.php

It is in danish and you have to register and be approved before u can post

(chose "login" - then "Ikke registreret? Klik her for at blive registreret." Then enter your handle, your email and your password (twice)).

Anyway, I know Denmark is small compared to England and some might consider flying to Copenhagen (Kastrup.) Just remember, if you rent a car, that that there is a toll for crossing the Great Belt bridge (it really is huge) http://www.storebaelt.dk/english. The price one-way is 29 EURO (around £20). A train ticket from Copenhagen to Herning will also reflect that you are crossing the Great Belt (tunnel and bridge) Link to danish national rail service http://www.dsb.dk/cs/Satellite?pagename=DSBUK/Forside

Arriva operates the train from Aarhus to Herning. Time schedule (pdf): http://www.arriva.dk/images/stories/dokumenter/pdf/koereplaner/2008/aarhus_skjern_plan_3.pdf Remember you have to take a coach from Aarhus Airport to Aarhus train station, as it is in the middle of nowhere. Half of the road between Aarhus and Herning is motorway, but the middle section (around Silkeborg) has not been built yet. Driving from Aarhus Airport to Herning will take 1h 30 minutes.

General information about Herning: http://www.visitherning.com/uk/index.asp

About SAS Arena. The stadium was built in 2004. It is next to Messecenter Herning (MCH) wich is the biggest Exhibition centre in scandinavia. The stadium is located about 2 miles from the centre of Herning and there are no pubs near the stadium.

The stadium capacity of 12.500 is with 1½ terraces standing. If they put in seats for the UEFA game, I think the capacity will be reduced to around 10.000.

Hope this was helpfull info.

-Lund

I've noticed that too. Always a big white one. Strange.
