He's like a bad smell, and just won't go away.:D

Better keep him around again, I have a feeling we'll need his magic touch against Villa again this year.

He has phenomenal pace for a short fat bloke. Fantastic.

I think we'll get another before the end. I'm sure of it.

I know what you mean.

Good call on the second goal. You could be an early favourite in the predictions league.

Geeez.
That was a tough match to watch.
The keeper for them was on fire.
Atleast were through to the next round and a good fitness boost too, it was a decent workout.
elano influenced a good bit.
Frustrating but positive..

Well Petrov was easily our best player again. I thought Elano played well despite being played out of his natural position AGAIN.

I will struggle to say much else positive so I wont say anything else at all, people seem to be adverse to the truth on here these days.........

Agreed it was frustrating but only the finishing got me frustrated. I'd rather have us struggle with finishing now and get it together in the next week or two for the start of the Prem. The passing and work rate were the best I've seen so far and it seems like the squad is starting to put the pieces together. The finishing will come soon with Jo, Benji, Bojinov, and maybe other signings coming into the squad. All in all I'm please and just glad to see City move on!

Well I'm happy with that. It's never easy when the other team gets everybody behind the ball. Would have been nice if we'd taken a few more chances but, you can't have everything. There was a lot of good movement off the ball which I like to see, and more accurate passing this time too. It was a good workout. Best performance so far without doubt.

Get in there Vass, man of the match for me!!

People have been slagging him off, but he works hard, creates goals and scores every now and then too!!

No doubt he is the man of the match, created chances, scored and assist.

Really, what would you have expected in the circumstances?

A brace of 2-0 wins, two good solid efforts. Now on to the next round. If a repeat doesn't put you into euphoria, you need to take on another team.

We'll be in Europe, and still have a few holes to fill on the roster.

I thought Johnson while he was on, and Sturidge, and elano... surprisingly, corluka and petrov were our best players.

Of course, the most significant acheivement of the evening was that I got promoted from "junior member" to "member". What's next?
