I think we're all looking forward to the first game in the premiership........

To see what formation we're going to play......

To see new players and players coming back from injury.......

To see the effects of the famed Hughes Fitness regime........

But the main reason I need the season to start is..................so I can stop seeing the 8-1 defeat at the hands of 'Boro gracing the 'latest results' column of every fucking football website I look at.

Currently we only have one new player who will not be playing the first game. I can only think of Boijinov, Ned, Richards and Struridge that have been injured.

Agreed, but I'm convinced we'll have more signings before the season starts and yes, I would particularly like to see Boj and Richards playing again.......

.........but not as much as seeing 'Villa 0-4 City' on the latest results column of every fucking football website I look at.

Oh and Danny Mills. I doubt that you want to see him play.

I think that other than scum, chavski and the bin-dippers....its pretty open between the next 5 clubs .
Arse have lost a lot of their players, so it could be any of the following for 4th
Arse, Everton, Spurs, City & Villa in my opinion

I agree about arsenal, they might struggle this season. But then I think liverpool might too. I think we'll see a shock 3rd place finish this year. Not sure who. Like it to be city. Think it could be city. or spurs.

Everton are getting stronger and stronger, and although it pains me so are Pompey.

Pompey's squad is shaping up very nicely. Will be even better if they land SWP.
Definite top 6 for them this season I reckon. (Hopefully 2 places below City ;))

Don't mind Everton at all. Moyes has gone about building a very handy squad without much fuss and huge amounts of money.

i think we need to concentrate on catching up with villa, spurs, pompey and everton before having any thought about breaking into the top four.

Indeedy, wouldn't have minded Moyes at City after Sven went.

It's not so much everton as a club, but the fans. When you hear enough everton fans say thing like, "city think they're still a big club but they're not" it gets to you. Cuz I think the same about them.
