Kompany, Aguero still sidelined for Manchester City

Manchester City must do without skipper Vincent Kompany and Sergio Aguero for the clash with Everton at Goodison Park.

Kompany is still not fully fit after a calf problem. Sergio Aguero is recovering from a knee injury and has gone back to Argentina for treatment.

Ahead of the match Mancini, whose side are 12 points behind United in the league with 10 games remaining, said: "The next two or three games are crucial."

Mancini added: "Sergio is in Argentina but he will come back on Sunday.

"Vincent is not in our plans for tomorrow. But I think he will be ready for the Newcastle game, like Sergio."

"It is difficult. Vinny is a really important player for us and now it is 45 days he has been out. It is a big problem."

Dead right it's a big problem, this is taking far to long to sort out.

While it's not ideal, Kolo and Nasty have barely put a foot wrong since he's been out.

Fucking hate Everton. We've let them take far too many points off us in recent times, I hope we give them a right hammering.

At least Cahill won't be overcoming his small stature to nod another one in...

Conk.

Toure is prone to calamitous lapses of concentration and his prolonged run in the team worries me that we may begin to see this again. Maybe he's playing for a new contract?

Thus far I think he's been pretty solid and we haven't missed Vinny as much as we could have

Of all our fixtures, Everton away is the one I don't look forward to.

Doe's anyone else question our medical staffs ability? Every injury seems to take forever to sort out, add to that their inability to spot a crock and you really begin to wonder!
Anyway as far as the game goes we need to get in their face right from the first whistle. Give them some of their own medicine. Yes indeed, a high tempo needed for this one!

In the latest "Inside City' , he doesn't look fit. Somewhere I read Bob is really frustrated with his situation .

that's just fellaini being his usual twattish self. don't get him and his thirst for violence, he's actually a fairly good player but he seems to have a real third division mentality in that respect.
