Conk. He reminds me of Cannavaro, who was 5ft 9 - tiny for a centre back but his leap and reading of the game more than made up for it.

Great performance where I don't think a single player had a poor game. Kudos to Pellers with his selection. Leaving KCB out is a big call but he did it and it worked perfectly

It's nice to see that we finally have the personnel to be able to employ different tactics according to the opposition/situation. I think even with everyone fit we may see that team put out again in the future

Special mentions last night to Sagna, Fernandinho and Hart (great save at 2-1) but I'd give everyone a 7/10 or greater. Also, the ref had a very good game. Let the game flow in a way I'd never before seen in Europe

Yeah the ref was terrific, wasn't influenced at all by the baying Spanish crowd who are used to a free kick being awarded every time someone hits the deck.
