A couple of mates used to go to uni in hull, one of them ended up living in beverley after he met a girl there. I can honestly say that the nights out we had there were some of the best we had, it is a cracking night out.

But I would have thought better than when we had Grimsby away.

Where as Manchester is God's Back garden, Grimsby is his Outside Loo

Hull away was okay if I remember rightly. Twas a wet Wednesday night, I remember that much.

Grimsby was a shit hole. It smelt of fish and the stand was made of wood. This game took place, if I recall, shortly after the Bradford fire and being penned up in an old wooden corner stand was somewhat disconcerting.

We played them after that as well 1999/2000 season. Still a shithole then as well

Bradford is the worst away day i've ever had - John Mackens debut when he came on and scored in the alst minute. We won 2-0 which made it all alright, but it stunk of cat piss.
