First half wasn't too bad. I think we lacked 'the pass' - our ball control was pretty poor. The referee's is an idiot, I've not seen a bigger 'dive' as Andy grey avoided saying on live television. Their first goal I admit, was amazing. We were pushed too far back though. Our goal was a lovely cross by Elano, but I'll admit Kompany has no idea. However, a goal is a goal, and if you stick your left out, you get what you deserve.

Just my two cents.

These type of games happen...No luck...dodgy referee...we just have to take them on the chin when they come along...it hasn't dented my aspirations one bit this result...we are going to be there or thereabouts at the end of the season mark my words.

Top 6 maybe. Forget about top 4 thats just laughable at this stage. Decent sides dont loose against Wigan / Brighton away.

And I dont want to hear about Arsenal v Hull

It was a shit performance and result and I dont think we were unlucky. They played very well and we played very badly. I dont want to see Garrido in the team again either. He is a steaming pile of shit.

For the first time ever, I concur with Alera on all but the Garrido situation. It was a dive of the highest order, he wasn't to blame

Agreed...don't know why Bally isn't in...he would have been perfect for roughing it out with Wigan

He is shit...not even a debate...my grandma could run faster than him...and he knows as much about positioning as a virgin in a whorehouse

Weakest link in the team...i'd play Bally over him every day of the week...Garrido may be good going forward but he's a defender...and gets skinned far too often for my liking...at least Bally takes them out if he knows he's going to get beat

He's not good going forward. He has a first touch like steven hawkins having a wank and can't deliver a decent final ball

i think they are both equally shite at defending. but garrido can cross.

If I had my way we would buy the best 2 left backs we could find and would come in January. I dont think either of the ones we have at the moment are up to the job. Definately the weakest point in the team.

Also I have serious doubts over the formation at the moment, we obviously cant play 5 attacking players most of the time with only Kompany as cover to tackle and fetch and carry its just not working.

I for one will be very happy when Petrov is fit again. Easily our best player last season, the side is missing him desperately at the moment.

I would like us to go back to 4 - 4 - 2 for the time being and just play robinho off Jo up front with a midfiled of SWP--Ireland(or Jonhson)--Kompany--Petrov.

I think the team will look alot more solid with that sort of formation. As much as I like Elano I think he will have to be happy covering for Robinho / Ireland for the time being until we get properly sorted in January at least.

weve played this formation twice with our first team. we won 6-0 and lost 2-1 away against 12 men. how can it be slated already?

I watched the game yesterday and we were completely overun in midfield. Thats why we lost the game.

Yes I am slating it, certainly away from home. If we had had Hamman or Fernades in that midfield along with Kompany yesterday we would not have lost that game and probably won it.

if hamann had started and we had lost, everyone would be asking why we changed a team that had won 6-0 and gone negative. the players are still gelling.
