Tell you what though, I would've taken 1-0 with 8 mins to go at the start of the game I reckon...

This. What a fucking underwhelming performance.

Funny game to try Sergio out in the holding midfielder role.

really deflating...i agree with you lot, we showed once again too much respect.

out with a whimper, and jow can hold his head high..

sergio frustrated by the lack of ball time, and even kdb didn't have a great game..

oh well, we just have to make sure the rags dont get 4th now..

That was somewhat pathetic. Think the team visibly wilted when kompany went off, had looked good for the first 10 minutes, and were then left trying to fuck the whore of madrid with a disappointingly floppy display. No shots on target? Do fuck off.

I'd add Kompany to the players leaving next season.... unless he's willing to be 4th choice CB. No point in keeping a player that can play 2 games every 2 months.

Kompany and Zaba are probably my all time favorite City players, but I don't see them up keeping up with this team anymore.

From twitter:
Quote:
Vincent Kompany was available for only 32% of the total minutes this season.
. This can't be ignored.

So basically leaving next season:

Thanks, but time to fuck off: Kolarov, Yaya, Demichelis, Pellegrini
Sad, but your time has come: Vinnie, Zaba.... Silva(?)
Why are you still here: Bony

100% guaranteed to stay/start: KDB, Sergio, Ferna, Hart, Otamendi, Nacho, Mangala, Navas, Sterling, Messi
Stay but as 2nd choice: Clichy, Sagna, Fernando, Nasri, Delph, Willy,

No idea: Denayer

Have I missed anyone?

He needs to go off to a specialist and get fixed. Even if it means he doesn't play till after Christmas, he's still got a good few years in him if he can sort his calf out.

This is a fucking outrage. I changed my laptop password to 'Milano2016' and everything?! Fucking fuming.

I liked how in the last 10 mins we were happy to just play out the loss, rather than throw everything at them I liked our confidence in securing the 1 - nil loss.

In danger of going out with a whimper here

I just logged on to post pretty much exactly this but in the past rather than present tense

I'm pretty sure most of us on here (maybe with the exception of the glory hunting Aussie cunts) have been City fans long enough that just to be in a Champions League semi-final is an absolute dream and then to only lose 1-0 over two legs to footballing royalty like Real rather than get a complete bumming you would think would be a decent result but it was like we didn't even try. Like Danny (the glory hunting Aussie cunt) said: it was like we were satisfied with a 1-0 defeat, as if it were the first leg or something?!

In summary: meh. 30 years ago we were drawing 1-1 with Luton Town in front of 20,000 people

It was just like watching the majority of city games this season. Going through the motions...Footballers spout the shit about being in the Champions League is so important and then put in performances like that.

After the game last night I thought it wouldn't be too bad if we didn't make top 4 this season, concentrate on winning the league.......but then again you don't want the rags getting it!!!

Was an absolute shit show last night, was more of an away game at Stoke or something like a stroll in the park.

We need more players bringing in than i thought.

Hart, Aguero, De Bruyne are the only 3 i can think of who are our main stayers i think. Maybe Iheanacho hopefully thrown in there

GK, RB, LB, CB, DM, CAM, RW, LW, ST all positions we need to strengthen at.

I was comparing the two sets of players and was thinking: How many of our players would actually be coveted by other teams? Granted we have been strangled by FFP to an extent but we have still spent shit loads
