Jeez, I'm in the middle of a few at the mo:

Triple A games:

GTA and I'd got 14% of the way through the Last of Us before I switched to GTA.

The latter two are known to be great, the first two are really good though. I read the Fables series a few years ago and although I'd rate it at a 7-7.5, I really like the game (Wolf Among Us). Well worth the investment

Just finished the first episode of "The Wolf Among Us". Wow.

I've read the comics and I've played a few TellTale games before. I know the Walking Dead gets all the rave reviews but I absolutely love this game. The walking dead as a game is good, very good, and gets higher reviews than this. This, however, speaks to my sensibilities a lot more (detective noir) and bloody hell, what a good cliffhanger.

I love this game

so, cheapo ps3 for christmas, the last of us and journey are first up, so what's the best footy game? bear in mind i'm not fucked about licensing so pes is viable and has been an old favourite but reviews are... well, flakey at best. one i read of pes made it sound like timing was crucial as it gave a level of control not previously seen, in that player stance and position affects actions. but having said that it seems that's a major gripe that some folk report. not read much about fifa though.

I bought a PS3 yesterday with GTA 5 and Battlefield 4. I played GTA for nearly 6 hours straight and am at 4.4% complete

Playing Far Cry 3 at the moment. I can see both sides of the argument (everyone else vs BBC). A very well made game but a bit tedious doing outposts and radio towers. Though I did shit myself when a crocodile got hold of me

Parcel Storm level is epic..yeah i said it..

starts of nice and calm and sunny, and part way in the round a siren sounds and it all kicks off into a full blown storm..really mint .

I'm still genuinely confused by it, if I was paranoid I'd be convinced it was a worldwide conspiracy to gaslight me. Having said that on other forums I post on they're in general agreement that the story is farcical. I didn't enjoy 2 all that much either - these are games I really want to like but there's just too many baffling design decisions getting in the way of fun, or at least in 2 that was the case. 3 would require an endemic redesign to be any good. Maybe my memory is tinged with nostalgia but I still think the first far cry is the best and most enjoyable game in the series. Maybe I should try crysis it seems like that's more of a spiritual successor to the first far cry. 3 just smacks of a less fun just cause, 2's setting was at least fairly unique.

I did complete it, but very quickly traded it in and have no desire to ever revisit it, which as it's purporting to be a sandbox game is fairly damning. I guess the reason I went on about it is I saw the potential for it to be amazing but that was buried under a pile of shit.

Borderlands 2: I know some of you love it, never played it but seems like my kind of game. I'm looking for something enjoyable for me and my mate to play split screen co-op - will this fit the bill? Anything I should know, or drawbacks to playing split screen?

does it play split screen? i know it's meant to be multiplayer but i thought that was across machines. having said that i'm playing it on pc at the mo, and split screen is console territory... oh, you'll want to google golden keys and get the codes for keys to open a chest in sanctuary for special gear. if i remember i'll find the link and post it.

I'd imagine it does split screen coop - the first one did and it was quality.

I've just bought Gran Turismo 6, then promptly stood on my HDMI cable and broke it.
