I was offline for a while -about 5 weeks- cuz lightning struck my house and fried everything electrical and that was switched on in the house. PC went, modem went fzzzzt bang! dvd player went, my new 40 inch lcd TV... caput!! a brand new scanner too, all the phones in the house, satellite system, it's cost me a fucking fortune. But apart from that... How's you anyway? |

Yeah, me too. Although, whats the odds of it happening to the same person twice. I did see lightning off in the distance last week, panicked and ran round the house unplugging everything just in case. |

Not sure if its an old wives tale, but your supposed to unplug/turn off the TV in a thunder storm. |
