We should have what rapidshare have. It's to stop automated logging in. I did come across a site a while back where you could get it from. I'll try and find it again.

Yeah but that's to login. To download you have to put in the code. I'm sure it could be adapted for a forum login. Edit: I actually wrote that first post wrong. It's not to stop automated login, it's to stop automated download. But My original point still stands. |

Edit: I actually wrote that first post wrong. It's not to stop automated login, it's to stop automated download. But My original point still stands. Ahh im with ya mate... Ive got mine set to auto downloads.. On one site i just have to click a links and then the download button on RS.. Or just cut and past the link and same as... I heart RS...

Even so, you dont seem to see that "put in the code" thing much anymore. But if the problem we're having with spam is automated and not actual person, then that's the only way I can think of stopping it. As that is what it was designed for. |
