Will we ever hear a song from the oasis follow-up band?

Last time i heard the first single was to be released in the beginning of october. now we are at the beginning of november, and i still havent heard anything of 'em. Is Liam just bullshiting around as we're used to him from the past? Or will he finally grow up and man up and re-fucking-lease a song with the reamaing lads from oasis?

It's your choice!

It is completely beyond my comprehension.

Ask Bassy.

Had you of said 'What the fuck are you on about, GCF? Who are Beady Eye?'

I would have been totally confounded. As it stands, I couldn't give a monkey's piss in the wind if he was facing south and standing on the shoulders of two Chilean miners with keyboard cat on his back.

They were great at Slane a few years ago on their final tour. Kasabian were ok that day as well.

I used to like Beady Eye but when I found out that they had written a song and were planning on releasing it to the general public I went right off them.

Sell outs!

Think what it would be like to have been one of those old blokes though?

The stories they'll tell their grandchildren of the night they saw The Leaves!

"Tell it us again Granddad, I"ve bought all my mates round to hear it"

Image

"Well kids it was Jackson's Pit and it were just me there with old Albert, god rest his soul, there were a lad on bass like this and some others carrying six foot lengths of four by two........"

Back on topic, with the release of remastered versions of "Band on the Run" and all of Lennon's solo catalogue out this month I imagine* that Liam's creative juices will be flowing.

*see what I did there?

That's harsh! I think some of the white label Obscurorama side project stuff they did with Fizzy was alright... Well the early stuff anyway.

It was all verse/chorus/verse and not "Shoe Gaze Revival" enough for my tastes.

And Julian Cope didn't like it much either.

I can only be thankful that they don't use Oasis name anymore and hope for something better..
