We need to settle who is the real music expert on this forum. The only way to do this is to do this is to play a game of Early 90s Shoegaze Top Trumps.

I bought a copy of My Bloody Valentine's Loveless in a "3 albums for €20 in hmv".

The other albums I bought were Kasabian and Rihanna.

Early 90s Shoegaze Top Trumps Score - 3/10

Can anyone beat this?

i still don't believe this is an actual, real, musical genre, and is instead a description of what people with some kind of congenital spinal deformity experience.

I was really into ""Leave Them All Behind" when I was 17. :approve: But only after I'd seen it on Top of the Pops. :(

Early 90s Shoegaze Top Trumps score 4/10

The best Ride stuff was earlier, the EP's they did, and the Nowhere album.

Bassy was into the early Ride EPs and the Going Nowhere Again album when he was 11.

He might be winning this game of Early 90s Shoegaze Top Trumps.

I had a poster from Flexi Pop of Toni Halliday from Curve on my bedroom wall.

Early 90s Shoegaze Top Trumps score - 5/10.

I'm pretty sure I saw Ride with Slowdive supporting them in 92 ish. That's gotta be a big hitter. Early 90s Shoegaze Top Trumps score 8.5/10

I definitely saw Curve with Swervedriver supporting them in Manchester University's Main Debating Hall autumn 93. I'm saying neither of those bands are genuine shoegaze though. Early 90s Shoegaze Top Trumps score 2/10.

Hope Bassy doesn't call me out on finding tickets for these gigs!
