He always had great respect for Vanilla Ice. More seriously he liked Delinquent Habits, Return of the Tres might be a good choice. If you're looking for something a bit more lively to finish up with then he really liked Gulf Breeze by Eat Static (he would always sing along with the women doing the la la la bit towards the beginning) and also (bizarrely) Inner City Junkies by Kektex (Route 17 on Routemaster). Also all manner of 80's dross. Tis sad, last time I saw him was at Glastonbenny last year, he was a truly top bloke but also a daft bastard! |

LL Cool J: 'Going back to Cali'. Anything from Beastie Boys catalogue, particularly 'Ill Communication'. Happy Mondays. Markered Man mentioned him as a 'daft bastard', I am pissed off with Benny cos he did what he did but clearly he was unwell, unknown to most of us. One of the best blokes I ever met, sound, sound fella who'll forever be remembered fondly. I aint getting all fucking teary on y'all but it's just a massive fucking shame is what it is. |

went to see her with Benny at the Night and Day in Manc, she IS tiny. she actually wears 3.5 size shoes. |
