I heard a tune on the radio a couple of days ago and I'm trying to find it. I can't tell you much about it other than I think it's from the early seventies, the main instrument is a saxophone, it's a bit soulful and it may be called something like "A Walk in the Park" or "A Walk in the Dark."
Anyone got any idea what I'm on about?

Cheers, Dan, I'll have a look through that site later. Don't you hate radio presenters who don't tell you the name of the tunes they play?

I hate people Buff. Radio dj's won't receive exclusive attention as far as I am concerned.

No, definitely not that, mate. The tune I'm looking for is lot more soulful and a lot less poncey. The Van der Valk theme always reminds me of flowery shirts, silly beards and knitted ties.

Figured it out, I am absolutely certain it is Herbie Hancock's Axel F. You're very welcome.

I've found it. :D
It's "Walk in the Night" by Junior Walker and the All Stars.
