Download returns for a eighth year, held over the weekend of Friday 11th to Sunday 13th June 2010. Download Festival, which this year has a capacity of 111,000 (making it the second largest festival in the UK), will return to Donington Park once again away from the racetrack.

AC/DC headline with Them Crooked Vultures,Wolfmother, Bullet For My Valentine, Motorhead, Deftones, Stone Temple Pilots, Volbeat, and Megadeth also confirmed.

Have you ever seen them live? The only other Aussie bands I like are Airbourne and Rose Tattoo. Both played Download a few years back.

Seen them live last year. But i went their thinking they were shit so didnt really wanna enjoy it. Put on a decent show though

I'd say they're almost underrated over here.

I've never seen them live. Would fucking love to.

Oh, I can always find excuses for failing to show at gigs. I've become a master of it over the last 12 months.

Angry Anderson ftw Rose Tattoo appeared at the first Slane way back in 1981 and caused some comedy outbursts in the media shocked by their hoolie antics. ThunderinScits was there. I was too young. Their early albums stand up today. Angry is great, even though he is a Gooner.

They've played lots of shows over this way in the last year so there is no excuse for not showing up. I first saw them on the For Those About To Rock tour. I was 13 years old. It was fucking terrifying!

I failed a few times in the last year as well but I really want to go to this one. The High Voltage festival in London should be good as well. ELP, Marillion, Foreigner, Heaven & Hell (aka Sabbath with Dio), Uriah Heep, ZZ Top, BLS etc etc. I might not even be the oldest one there!
