Bizarrely I find Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds quite Christmassy. On the last day before Christmas we commandeer the PCs at work and play networked games and play a bit of music. One ex-member of the group always comes back for this, and one year the only CD we had was a copy of war of the worlds he'd bought along. After having a singalong while playing on the PCs we now have war of the worlds every year as a Christmas tradition. |

I've just been for dinner down at Barton Grange garden centre, near my office. The commercial director was up and we went for turkey and all the trimmings. There was a "Pan Pipes Christmas" album on and it's the first time this year I've felt slightly festive. God bless us all, every last one! |

i import duck breast from there to gillingham Ah yes, they've got their fingers in many pies. Some of them duck. They've got a hotel just down the road too, where half our client's staff stay, and a landscaping business, and poultry etc. Garden centres are a great place to have christmas dinner. Couldn't move for false teeth being dislodged. there was a funny incident on the table next to me where there was a woman in a wheelchair who couldn't speak properly, and another member of her party tried to move her wheelchair, but the handbrake must have been on or something. cue much hilarity! I damn near choked on my sprouts. |
