normally i like bassy's views on music but you should only be allowed comment on an artist when you have sold more records than them:D

I just can't understand why people listen to the rubbish that this man produces. Why??? It's cabaret/karaoke. it's cheap and tacky and terrible. people seem to be satisfied by cheap and nasty crap. Take for example all the gimicky tv shows like x fuctor, it's all cheap and nasty rubbish. People seem to like cheap and nasty appalling rubbish.

Why??? I don't understand, and never will do.

That goes for most Pop music though Bassy.

I'm not a fan of it, but that's life. Find music you do enjoy and share it with people who'll listen and enjoy it themselves. If they don't and they enjoy other stuff that you don't like, you build a bridge and move on.

I find it quite intruguing that a lot of human beings are the way they are. Some people are so easily satisfied.

Best just to leave them to it, whilst you continue on your quest to finding the perfect shoegazing album.

Which is a good thing, otherwise I would have spent a lot more of my life single.

Tal Benny, I agree with Bassy on this one: how can a 35 year old be given a lifetime achievment award?

OK, well give him an award for that; but a lifetime award??!!

Are they expecting him to drop dead soon or something?

I wasn't saying it because he's 35. I'm saying it because he should never be given anything other than a right good shoeing.
