Did anyone see them live? One band I'd definitely see if I could go back in time. Ian Curtis's is lyrical genius. Were they any good live?

I bought that this weekend, but left it at home. I was proper pissed off. See Control. I cannot recommend that film enough. Absolutely sensational.

Would've loved to have seen them live. Saw that film about him the other day, powerful stuff. Great musician and great taste in football clubs too :D

The way Control is shot, the whole performance from the actor who plays him, the entire thing, is just so emotive and thought-provoking.

I saw New Order a load of times. The last time was in Lansdowne Road supporting RHCP - about 70,000 were there. John Frusciante played a few Joy Division songs with them. Once he left the stage the crowd turned on the band. Peter Hook called us a bunch of twats. There were a few fat old blokes like me who were enjoying them but the kiddies hadn't a clue who they were.

At the end a young girl asked my mate who the band were. "Joy Division" he replied. She nodded her head and walked on.
