I'm not sure if many people know them for more than 'take on me' but a-ha have released some fantastic albums and have a great back catalogue. today it was announced that the band will retire after their 2010 tour. as a huge fan this is terrible news especiall since their most recent album was so good.

Can't imagine there'll be too many people upset at their passing over here. They crop up on radio2 very occasionally and that's about it as far as mainstream exposure goes.

Manhattan Skyline's a fucking tune. haven't heard that in many years.
