Christy Moore writes some songs, takes some from other songwriters as well as doing covers and traditional songs.

This crap about bands writing all their own songs is just done to make sure all the publishing money is earned by the band. It has little to do with artistic credibility.

I mean, Snow Patrol write their own stuff and make terrible records. It took Leona Lewis to sing their best song properly.

Utter piffle

Didn't you write the song? Do you not own the publishing?

Your so fucking annoying. Do you fucking know me? Do you know who I am, what I do? Do you fuck? I think you need to realise that people are able to listen to several genres of music without being categorised. You're a narrow-minded fuck that needs to grow up and start living the dream, not sitting at a computer desk thinking "I am such a music mogul. Simon Cowell has nothing on me, because I listen to obscure bands."

I always read her name as Mary J Bilge, I do the same with Kirsty Wank who presents newsnight.

Steering clear of a music argument other than to say thta I will give most things a go where someone has put some effort into it. I can't be doing with the over-marketted, manufactured rehash of a few recent number 1 songs.

So far liking Master Of Confusion. I'll be enquiring more later.

I'd also like to ad to this thread that if you do sample one of the bands that you notify us of it so as to get a wider view of them.

They played Whelans supporting Electric Wizard a few weeks ago. Only got one album out as far as I know.

This is the chick who sings for them.
