I'm trying to decided whether you mean (a) I actually wanted to go, and only say I was dragged because I don't want to appear gay, (b) I went out dressed as a woman, or (c) all of the above.

I meant (a) originally, but now I like (c).

It's better to make a tw*t out of yourself doing karaoke than being that guy who refuses to sing because he doesn't want to make a tw*t out of himself (if that makes sense).

Yeah. True.
But. I'm too young to be making a tw*t out of myself. It's the sort of thing that would come back to haunt me.
Maybe in 10 years.

Behave yourself. Youth is exactly when you should be making a dick of yourself. Though that said I can see what you mean, there's definitely a growing up thing when you don't really care what other people think you look like. This also applies to the music you listen to, when I was 18 I would only listen to things I thought were tres cool, now I don't care. I know what's better. I think it only comes with age though.

I make a dick of myself on a daily basis. And I love it.

I hope that this occurs somewhere around 20, because otherwise I'm gonna still get paranoid about looking a tw*t - the only reason I drink is to get rid of my inhibitions, but I'd quite like to get to a position where I didn't have to drink to avoid the paranoia.

It's probably more like 30 tbf, well, for me anyway. Different for everyone I guess.

Then you'll just be drinking for the sake of it...

I used to try 'Creep' by Radiohead, 'Lovesong' by the Cure etc, etc. In the end the only ones i could do were 'I'm too sexy' by Right said Fred, and 'Africa' by Toto.:p

Im an experienced campaigner when it comes to Kareoke but my choices of songs are so obviously chosen, my favourites are

Wonderwall
I guess thats why they call it the blues
Don't look back in Anger
My way
Journy- only the young

I have also done a few various Abba songs but they were part of a group. Its all good drunken banter, get involved dave pat
