Glasvegas ftw!

Haven't listened to Glasvegas for ages. There are none that i passionately want to win this year, last year i really wanted Elbow or Laura Marling. There's a few i really like this year.

I'd quite like Florence to win actually. But i has love for her anyway. She's good, and there's something strangely sexy about her.

The singer of Glasvegas makes me feel suicidal, there's just something about his voice that immediately triggers a reaction and makes me feel incredibly depressed. I really don't get it.

Music like that should be banned, I haven't knowingly heard Galsvegas but its shite like Radiohead, The Verve (and a few others that I have deleted from my mind) that do that for me. I don't even has the time to assess their musicianship cos I have to get the sound off asap, absolute shite for me. Music to complement a bad mood is fine but I cannot tolerate music that will convert a good mood to a shit one.

I don't have much experience of the bands nominated but I saw a bit of FATM on the Glasto or some other festival coverage and they sounded awful. If this year's winner is anything like the guy on the piano that won last year (I am going off the Rough Trade BBC program recently) then they will be gash of the highest order.
