Not tried that one. I have a few music apps on the ipod touch and they are excellent.

Very interesting - I stayed away from ipods when looking for an mp3 player ages ago due to the requirement for itunes and Apple's silly formats - are you still tied into those?

Capital M. It's all in the caps, JB. I do have a lock-up and the remains of several children though.

Was there more to that or are you merely linking my camera obsession with my unhealthy liking of children's corpses?

Thinking of buying a digital SLR type camera thingy. What is a good entry level one?

Depends how much you want to spend but canon are usually the best way of starting. I have a couple of Pentax DSLR's but then pentax accessories are very difficult to get a hold of as only Pentax and occasionally Sigma make them.

I always equate a Pentax with a Mac and Canon with a PC.

Canon have just launched a new entry level DSLR. Can't remember the code off hand though.

That's a good amount for an entry level one. Can get a good un for that.

Actually Nikon have just released a new one. The D3000 and it's getting rave reviews. A tad under £420 with standard kit lens.

Oh and check out the Canon EOS 1000D too. It's supposed to be good.

And don't get too hung up on megapixel numbers. 10mp on a DSLR blows 14mp on a compact out of the water. There is no comparison. The DSLR has a much bigger sensor and it is the sensor size that is most important.

If I put a bog standard webcam on my computer, can you hook up your best camera and then via the internet give my shitty webcam all the power that yours boasts?

There must be a way surely?

Sounds like a plan. Why wouldn't it work? It's the internet.
