It wasn't a racist statement he said modern black music, maybe modern black artist is a more accurate statement or just modern artist. but the genre in question is dominated and performed better by black artists that would then be seen as black music by some.

tbf Bassman has a considerable amount of previous form when it comes to racial hatred and music.

When Alexandra Burke covered "Hallelujah" last year he went postal, frothing at the mouth and demanding to know why they couldn't stick to their music and let us have our own.

He never listens to black music. he's a text-book Oldham BNP footsoldier.

Well i would agree using words like they and their is a form of racism, but the man is passionate about music and that version was a bit crap but any xfactor crap covers are, regardless of who sings it. I just ownder what he thinks of Jimmy Hendrix
