They have a few things in common

They have dick-heads for lead singers who cant sing for toffee...

99% of the talent emulates from the lead guitarist

They think they are better than what they actually are...

But the fact is the stone roses made an absolutely fantastic debut album that kickstarted a fantastic decade of music. Oasis bucked the trend with a great debut album, but they both should have stopped at that one record because neither have made anything decent since and Oasis are a laughing stock as they replicate and release crap after crap....

The answer to the question is the stone roses....

I take issue with this. What's John Squire done since Roses? Brownie's released some great solo stuff

He is a prize cnut, and an awful singer, but i take your point his 1st solo album is quite good....
