So everybody keeps saying. The Stone Roses is a great album, one of all time favourites.

I'd rather see Oasis live again that Ian Brown live again though. Ian Brown was good last time but i'm not a massive fan of his solo stuff. Having said that if any of mates fancy it i'll go again. Worth it just for the two Roses tracks he did.

Oasis
Roses are good but sometimes when you hear them you get an impression of an old box of opened biscuits

best one i heard about Mark E Smith. he was doing an interview with some music hack, i think. Anyway, after several beverages, Smith decided he needed some food, so invited the hack back to his gaff for a bit of food, and carry on the interview.

Sitting in Smith's abode, the hack heard all kinds of rustling and pans being moved around, water running etc, from the kitchen. 10 minutes later Smith emerged and handed a crisp butty to the hack and said "get that down yer neck".:D
