I'm in Marlay Park Dublin. No rain yet. Mastodon are on now. Difficult to type in the mosh pit.

avenged sevenfold on now. A girl up front has a banner requesting the guitarist to "fuck her hard". A personalised roi top has been thrown to the singer'.

metallica are playing a killer set. I've seen them 10 + times. This is one of the best.

Blackened?! I would have ruined my jocks. A lifelong dream to hear that live. probably my fave 'tallica song, that or Eye of the Beholder.

I could do with out those encores though. They played the same at O2.

Otherwise, that's a rad set list.

Despite hating them now, I'd have fucking loved to have seen that.

Why? Death Magnetic is a solid album, really good. His voice has lost it's anger but he is 40+. I really like the new album.

I said the same at first but then gave it a listen after a cow-prodder was jammed in my ribs by a mate, and I started to hear that musically it is sahnd as a pahnd.

Hetfield's voice is shot but his riffage and song-writing is superbia en prometalia.

Then that makes perfect sense. If you as a big fan don't like it, someone who doesn't like them is more likely to like one you don't.

Dont agree with that, i was a HUGE Metallica fan before they went soft and all lar de dar and the "black album" is amongst the best they have made, infact they was all great from "Kill um all" to the "black album" then they fucked it all up :(

"Sad but true" live is the shizzle :approve:

Death Magnetic was an awful album. Never heard a snare so loud on record in all my life. Just awful.
