as much as i thoroughly disagree with competition in music, out of this lot, Bat for Lashes would win it if it weren't for Glasvegas.

Glasvegas have to win this because this album is the finest debut album of last year, and the best on the list. If they don't win it, i demand a recount.

One thing I can say for sure is that it shouldn't be Flerence and the Machine. Boring second rate drivel (in my humble, but correct, opinion). Good music, like good beer, does not need to be advertised on TV, end of.
