The Beatles are winning this poll? Pullleeeeassse. I love the Beatles however let me explain something, The Beatles came after The Beach Boys (whom they cited as huge inspirators) and the BBoys came after Elvis who was an enormous idol to The Beach Boys, The Beatles and practically anyone who had the ablity to hear.

Elvis [/clear cut winner]

You and me both. I'm very disturbed by the lack of votes for the king.

Not quite what I said, but what's a misquote between friends?

I don't like the album full stop. I think it's shit. That's my own opinion, formed by me and evryfink. Just, with the backdrop of the hype, it makes it that little bit more disappointing to have found it so shit. I'd expected it to be really good and it isn't.

Just my opinion of course, but one not influenced by anybody else thnkuverymch.

Fair enough. I do personally find that the more i'm told to like something, the less likely I am to actually like it in the end. I'm like that with books.

It's certainly not shit though. Can't you dislike it but still understand how it might be other people's cup of tea?

I've never suggested otherwise.

I could say it certainly is shit, can't you understand why somebody would dislike it?

Given that everybody has just different tastes etc, yes I can understand.

When we were at primary school we used to sing a song about Elvis.

Elvis Presley, his girls are sexy, sitting in the back seat drinking pepsi.

No but there's a difference between saying something's shit and saying you dislike it. There's a lot of music I think is shit, and I don't understand how anyone could like it, but there's also music I dislike but recognise that it's good, just not to my tastes.

Poofs. If there was a fight between me and all of them, I'm fairly confident I would make them look foolish.
In fact, I could fight any of the bands in the poll too, and I'd win

If Bonzo wasn't dead he'd have you. And do you think you could go toe to toe with Tony Iommi? I fucking doubt it.

He has another few weeks to go. I paid him a visit at facebook. He didn't get me to act like the chick did in Midnight Express when she visited her American boyfriend in the Turkish prison.

I was relieved.

Bonhomo. I'd do him in straight sets.

All the music you like would get beaten by me.

I'd like to see you go toe to toe with To Iommni

He'll be back

Tbh, what else has he got?

He can sit in his bedsit and eat his soup and watch the Inbetweeners, or he can be on here with his soup and his bedsit. He's nobody's fool, he knows what's best

You talk a big game MRAMB but in reality you are a floppy haired schtyuden' who sits on pathways with your other smarmy arsed university mates and girlfriends with pink hair and ripped stockings (painfully retro) and spend your lives spouting rubbish about the state of the the economy, the latest 'cooool' indie music act and which window you are going to break next. Society does not need your sort buster, society wants individuals who are willing to become part of the bigger family. Are you going to fight the system forever punk?
