What's that new tune that directly rips off Coldplay's Clocks? It's not good but I want to know who the artist is. I thought it was Pink but heard it today and I am pretty sure it aint.

Also, in the Smiths tune Ask where there is a female vocalist doing the harmony for some parts, is that her actual voice or has it been effected in the studio, because it is way friggin high, it's almost a squeak.

The Smiths one, some of it was Morrissey doing the backing, under the name of Ann Coates.

as for the other, who would want to rip Coldplay off?

Interesting, do you know the harmony I mean? Well if it is Morriseey then it's definitely studio effected.

Coldplay were okay, they are now shit but I liked them back then.

not sure if it's that particular one, i'll have to take a look later, but i do know for sure that on some stuff Morrissey did the backing himself under the name Ann Coates, area of Manchester.

I briefly liked one tune of Coldplays debut album - what's that one "we live in a beautiful world..." that was ok.

Is there a worse lyric than;

'I am so 2008, you're so 2000 and late'

Is it this? Just heard it on the radio, sounds like a rip off of Clocks to me. I actually don't mind it :o
