Away from the main stage we have Ian Brown, Prodigy, Pendulum, Alphabeat, Kings of Leon, Pigeon Detectives, Fratellis... It's quite good, apart from the headliners.

Instead of jocks you got abou half the kidy population of Manchester going! I feel your hurt!!!

Damn straight....its one of those festivals thats turned into the place to be for any old tom dick and harry not the festival die hards....il find them though and push them in the metallica moshpit and see how long they last before they phone daddy on their blackberry to pick them up and take them home.....grrrrrr

This is the line-up for Download. Cavalera Brothers should be great.

Not the strongest headliners on Saturday and Sunday. But I'll look at the other stages on those days.

I'm in the departure lounge for Eeat Midlands Airport. The plane is late and if I miss Motorhead I will be liable to cause an "air rage" incident.

I'm in East Midalands Airport - the crappest airport in world - official.

Download was great of course. All the ancient bands did the biz. Kiss, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Saxon, Testament, Rose Tattoo etc etc.

I managed to watch Pendulam for 5 minutes before I ran away. Yuk! what the fuck were they doing on the bill?
