Jethro Tull. Manchester Apollo when I was 16. Just the best gig ever. Ian Anderson twirling his flute (hur-hur). The guy is a natural showman. Talk about stage presence. Many gigs have let me down and not matched the hype. Tull were everything I wanted them to be and more.

Best war story was prolly Gypsy Kings in Cascais. They were unbelievably good. We got mashed on tequila slammers before the gig, then smoked dope throughout the gig. Aftewards we drove in to Lisbon and spent all night in a club drinking whisky. What a night. Who'd have thought a bunch of guys with acoustic guitars could be as loud as Kiss. My ears were ringing for days.

Foo Fighters. 2nd June 2008 - I came out with bruised ribs and bruises all up my arms. Day after I couldn't move. Skart, and whoever else bigged up moshing, I salute you!
Good Charlotte, 13th April 2008 - My first Mosh... I shall never forget this gig. I couldn't walk afterwards because some fatty dived on my ankle, and I caught the Bassist's towel afterwards!
Oasis, June 2005 - Just because it was 70,000 people going mad for Oasis.
Ian Brown, 10th December 2007 - 16,000 people walking out of the Gmex singing "There's Only One, Ricky Hatton", night of his Mayweather fight

Prince is great but the bastard has just cancelled a gig in Dublin due to be played on Monday in Croke Park. My sister who is a mega Prince fan has said she will "kick him in his purple mickey".

Best gigs ever:

Brian Wilson - Royal Festival Hall, London. Debut of Smile. I went back on the second night to make sure it was as good as I thought. It was.

Phil Lynott Band - Rosnaree Hotel. I was 13 years old and the band came on at midnight. They were smoking spliffs onstage and I was so green I didn't know what this was.

Kraftwerk - Olympia Dublin. Best bit was when the robots came on and took over.

Hamell On Trial - Whelans Dublin - loads of times.

Iggy Pop - Olympia Dublin. He saw The Corrs sitting in the royal box. He called them "Gucci fucks" and spat at them. He then spent two songs swinging his mic trying to hit them. The crowd cheered Iggy on and The Corrs left.

AC/DC - 1982 RDS Dublin - For Those About to Rock tour. Cannons. 'Nuff said.

Rush - R30 tour - Wembley and MEN Arena.

Black Sabbath - with Ozzy - Donnington.

Pink Floyd - Cologne Olympic Stadium

Muse - Oxegen, Temple Bar Music Centre, The Point and Oxegen again.

Pixies - National Stadium Dublin just after Bosanova came out.
Roger Waters - Hyde Park - Dark Side of the Moon with Nick Mason.

2.Fun Lovin Criminals - Bridlington Spa.... This was summat else, they were superb, stopped to do a scene out of carlito's way....they played for nearly 3 hours and then invited everyone over to the pub opposite, paid the bar and played an acoustic set....f'ing A

3.Stone Roses - Spike Island ..... shit sound system...but you couldnt fault the vibe....
