whenever i see Coldplay, i always think what a bunch of smug looking bastards. very, very smug, in that Phil Collins kind of smug way.

Parachutes is still the best thing they ever did.
Rush of blood wasn't too shoddy either.
X&Y is not that good at all and judging by reviews from different sources, this new effort just stinks.

Perhaps Chris Martin should disappear into the background and be known as Mr Gwyneth Paltrow. At this rate, this is all he will be known for, being married to a successful actress.

Parachutes is alright if not a little damp. Rush of Bllod was best for me. X&Y had one good song.

As Emigre said Coldplay are pointless. Beige coloured, ponderous, emotionally heavy, pop-rhetoric.

i agree, Don't Panic is a tune. Not liked any of their later stuff.
