Yeah, you don't want to go making snap judgements on stuff like this. Buy a half dozen magazines, spend a month on the internet and then, and only then, sit down and write the pro's and con's of every available mp3 player. Or you could just go in to town and buy the first lovely shiney ipod you see.

I'd avoid Apple if I were you Shirley. Get a Sony or equivalent with a simple file exchange system. Apple (iPods) use iTunes and its wank.

Ipod is overrated, and until they stop trying to control what you can put on them they'll always be second best. Any old mp3 will do, but what you need is a good set of headphones. Makes all the difference.

Get a fuckin Samsung Bassy... They are the fuckin dogs left testicle! Absolutely awesome!!!
