Died of cancer yesterday. Just read it in the paper this morning.

Wrote some of Pink Floyds best music.

His contribution to Pink Floyd has been underestimated for years. Just listen to Shine On and Darkside of the Moon and Echoes.

Or best of all have a look at the Pink Floyd Pompeii film to see them at their best.

Very true, so depressed on hearing this, I always planned on flying to the UK to see them play if they ever got together again since i couldn't see them at Live8.

Sad day for music.

Have I ever mentioned where I was on the 8/8/88 at 8pm? At maine road watching pink floyd live. What, I have mentioned it before? Are you sure? Oh, okay then.

What a coincidence. Exactly 111 days earlier at precisely that time, I was at Wembley Arena watching Frank Zappa.
