That song got me into a fight with a pub landlord once. It was newyears eve I think and we was being a bit rowdy, standing on tables and singing, that song was on at the time when the landlord came over with a few of his friends and decided we wasn't welcome anymore. But instead of saying 'You're not welcome anymore', they tried to just manhandle us out. I would have been quite happy to leave if they'd only asked. I just didn't like being grabbed by the throat. He was a big man the landlord, but he was old and out of shape.

The Pet Shop Boys nearly got us kicked out of The Northern Quarter a couple of years ago...it was after the home derby with Fowler scoring late on. A few hours and a few beers later, 'Go West' came on in The Bay Horse...to which we obviously started singing "Uwe Rosler" at the tops of our voices. This spread to other City fans around the pub, much to the annoyance of the management - we saw the phalanx of bruising bouncers flexing their muscles and quickly shut up...many other Blues weren't quite so aware and got heaved out!
