..for me. Last evening, myself and a couple of chums were on the music quiz machine in the boozer, and we were doing rather well, until i got a Cardigans question...erm...wrong. I couldn't believe it. I hung my head in shame, as they looked at me aghast.

"True or false: the Cardigans are an achingly dull indie band stuck in the nineties with a lesbian hound as a vocalist."

The question was something like, 'What was the UK debut single to chart?' Now, i knew it was either 'Sick and Tired' or 'Carnival'. I went for Sick and Tired, but it was Carnival. Also, in the early part of their career, several of their early singles were re-released, which also confuses the situation somewhat. However, i was gutted, and they could see that.:o:mad::o

In fact, i couldn't decide what was the more embarrassing. Getting that question wrong, or walking in the boozer, and a load of reds crowing over what City had just managed to conjur up.

I think that's fcukin hard to be honest and I like to think I know my music very well.

Are you a big Cardigans fans or something and are ashamed of getting it wrong?

I've never met a Cardigans fan before.

Everyone on here knows that i like The Magnificent Cardigans, so i'm sure several on here will have chortled.:o

get their last 2 albums Long Gone Before Daylight, and Super Extra Gravity. Class.

In fact, it's been confirmed, i'm going to be doing some dj-ing quite soon, and there will be one or two Cardies thrown in for good measure. ha!:D
