I see the Led Zep 'Stairway to Heaven' / Taurus 'Spirit' legalities have commenced again. Or at least become media public again. Look, it's similar, it's not entire. For a start STH is about 9 mins long compared to under 3 mins, but they say it's the riff. Yeh yeh. Everyone has stolen or used similar riffs for decades. Loads of people copied Hendrix, same for the Johhny B Good Chuck Berry riff and we go from there.

Some more;

Oasis 'Don't look back' > J Lennon 'Imagine'
Oasis 'can't remember the name of the song' > Led Zep 'Nobody's fault but mine'.

The pre-chorus of Adele's 'Someone like you' and Miley's 'Wrecking ball are basically exactly the same melody.

Also the pre-chorus to Cheap Trick's 'If you want my love you got it' sounds like a Beatles song but I can't quite pick which one.

There's a recent noel Gallagher song of his last album that really sounds like something else..
It was Chris moyles on radio x that pulled it...
Can't remember the song as it was a bit shite his avant-garde attempts at music.
But I'll figure it out..
Dime bag was a original one. No body could touch his riff creations...
