"Frankie's Gun!" by the Felice Brothers is probably my favourite song of the year so far. In fact, "The Felice Brothers" by the Felice Brothers is probably my favourite album of the year so fay and their gig at Night and Day my favourite gig this year.

Glasvegas are very meh. Pretty dull derivative indie.

Best tune of the year? Yippiyo-ay by The Presets.

I like what i've heard of Glasvegas so far. I read that the albums not out until September though, which is a bit of a bummer

That one song's alright. Got very boring after a few listens though. Saw them doing a gig on Channel 4 and they were totally dreary.

I always thought of 5 Leaves Left as Oldham's answer to Katrina and the Waves. I was only guessing as I am still waiting on the postman to deliver the cd.

I'm picking up more Brotherhood of Man influences from the stuff I've listened to so far.

We've changed a little in the last 6 months. One drummer gone, got a new one in. Some of the newer songs are less fooking around and more up and at em, which pleases me no end.

Glasvegas lead singer reminds me of a cross between Edwyn Collins & Joe Strummer.:)
